From Baby Jars to Brew Butta                                                                                                           Brew Butta is one of the newest green companies on the scene. Formed at the end of 2008, Brew Butta’s roots stretch back to 1999. Starting as a small home based business, Simone Bailey blended her shea butter blends in the kitchen of her small Atlanta apartment. “I had no money at the time for bottling and packaging so I had to be inventive. Every night I would go to my local grocery store and buy as many jars of baby food as I could afford. I would empty the food and give it to a friend who had just had a child, and I would keep and sterilize the bottles for my shea butter products.”  Ms. Bailey’s shea butter formulas found local success in Atlanta’s bohemian Little 5 Points district.  In 2002 she moved to Miami, and has again launched her shea butter creations, this time on a much bigger scale with a much needed partner.                                                                                                                                           

Brew Butta, the official name of Simone Bailey and Dennis McCamery’s business, has created a shea butter based product that is unique to the skin care industry due to its high concentration of shea butter, with each brew containing at least 95% natural, organic shea butter. Brew Butta blends raw, organic, fair-trade shea butter from Togo, West Africa with the healing properties of numerous essential oils and the moisture locking effects of coconut and jojoba oils.
